Edmonds Recycling believes in the three R's. But, whenever possible we strongly promote the second of those R's &.REUSE.
Whether it is refurbishing automotive batteries for resale instead of recycling, or rebuilding Uninterruptible Power Supplies, we try to have a waste-not-want-not attitude. We are proud to be one of the few companies in North America that save UPSs from destruction by removing and recycling the old batteries contained inside and replacing them with brand new ones, polishing them up, and reselling them back into the market.
In partnership with Edmonds Batteries Ltd, many of these units have been put back into use, serving the purpose for which they were built - protecting computers and electronics from power outages and supplying a battery backup for safe shutdown.
